Throughout many people's lives, they will find that the teeth they were born with are not quite up to the standard we all expect. There is no doubt that watching the A-List people of Hollywood acting their hearts out in whatever action flick and seeing their straight, white teeth can leave you with an increasing amount of envy. They don't have any unstraight teeth, do they? They sure don't. Hollywood, after all, is the Dream Machine and what they choose to use on the silver screen isn't normally based on reality. Think about it; when was the last time a large Alien spaceship landed on Earth and started to eradicate the nearest human being to smithereens via a gun which spews out a green laser? Or, if all of a sudden the people walking down a leafy street start singing and dancing even though they don't know each other? As already said, Hollywood doesn't quite live in the real world. But the one aspect of Hollywood which can be a reality is through the gnashers that they sport.
So what exactly can be done?
Straight teeth can be achieved through many dental methods but the one which is proving to be extremely popular at the moment is through "incognito braces". Incognito braces are a form of lingual brace which takes its name from the Latin word "lingual" meaning "on the side towards the tongue".
What are incognito braces?
Like its Latin translation, incognito braces are attached to the inner side of the teeth. The purpose of them is to fix malaligned teeth which look unsightly. Chance would have it; many of us have these "malaligned teeth". Such teeth prevent us from having that straight smile which many of us yearn to have. The brace itself not only has the benefit of realigning any unsightly teeth but they are not visible to the naked eye unless you open your mouth and look closely behind the teeth themselves. Long gone are the days of the "train track" braces which, to be quite honest, have never looked pleasant on anybody. Those who need braces cannot help the fact they need this type of dental treatment but, as they are not visible, this is something which many find appealing and drawn to having applied on themselves.
Sounds great. Can you tell me more?
Incognito braces, unlike the traditional "train track" versions, are made up of the precious metal gold which further removes the possibility of nickel allergies cropping up. Furthermore, they are also created using the latest technology which allows for each set of incognito braces to be different from the next as they are tailored to each person's own set of teeth. The bonuses of incognito braces when compared to their negatives really are disproportionate.
The cost of it all
You should expect to pay in the region of £5,000 per arch. This may seem a bit steep, but when you research the topic you can see the many benefits of this dental treatment.
